Originally from Sweden, I moved to Vanderhoof eight years ago. While at home with my young childrenI took pottery classes. Before long I had my own wheel and was producing pieces for sale locally at Earthern Ware (Vanderhoof, BC). My functional stoneware can is available in cups, plates, bowls and vases forms. I now teach classes for Arts Unlimited, Vanderhoof.

Hilda Villumsen, Wall Hangings

Using burlap stretched on a 24" x 36" frame, a small hook and wool, I create wall hangings that take approximately 100 hours to complete. Birds, flowers, landscapes, Kreighoff's paintings,buildings - anything that catches my fancy - I hook.
