I retired to the north shore of Fraser Lake five years ago with my husband. We build a small gallery in our yard to display his woodwork and my paintings and clay sculpture. We enjoy ourselves every day doing all the things we never had time to do while we were working!

Annerose Georgeson, Painter
Annerose Georgeson makes mixed media drawings and acrylic paintings and has had eight solo shows of her artwork. Georgeson's imagery is from nature. Annerose is working on a new body of work about the mountain pine beetle and the absence of the pine trees from the landscape.

Lindalee Sjodin, Painter
LIndalee was born in Winnipeg and moved to Vanderhoof in 1953. She attended school in Vanderhoof some years and then took correspondence courses while living 65km southwest of Vanderhoof on her dad's trapline and Rich Hobson's Ranch. She graduated from Nechako Valley Secondary School in 1963 and is a self-taught artist using various mediums, mostly acrylics and oil on canvas, animal skulls, saws, leather, rocks and feathers (a speciality). Her subjects vary: wildlife, rodeo, rural and western art, domestic animals and people. Lindalee lives on Cathy Lake, once part of Rich Hobson's River Ranch, where she has a small, very active studio.
