Red Cross Swim Kids Swimming Program (NOT included in the Child Pass)
Yeah! Swimming lessons are being offered this summer in Stuart Lake. The instructor is Jennifer Salokannel who has recently been certified as a Red Cross Swimming Instructor. There will be two sessions of swimming lessons, for the purpose of facilitating more children. The lessons for each level will have 6 students in them with the exception of Salamander and sunfish, which will have 4. Lessons are every weekday for the length of the session. Sign up on registration night, Wednesday June 20th to avoid disappointment, as space is limited.
This swim program is a new and improved but slightly different than the AquaQuest program previously offered. If you DO NOT know what level your child should be in, please come in to the District Office BEFORE registration night if you would like to ensure your child gets into the desired level. Registration night will be busy and the Instructor will be available to talk to, however, she will be in a different room from registration and may slow down your registration process. If you would like to talk to the instructor to find out what level your child should be in, please give Jennifer a call at 996-7076. She would be happy to help you figure out what level your child is at before registration night. If you find your child's badge or level of previous lessons it will be tremendously easier to determine the level for this session. IF you KNOW what level your child completed, you DO NOT need to come in BEFORE to determine a suitable level.
