FLSC has a Professional Coach!

Rory Allen brings nearly twenty years of skating experience and talent to his exciting role as a Professional Coach and Skating Director for the Fraser Lake Skating Club.

He’s a successful competitive skater who turned his skills to judging and is now a practicing 3M NCCP (National Coaches Certification Program) Certified Professional Coach.  Rory has been coaching in northern British Columbia since March 2003.

Highlights of his competitive career include:

  • Member of the Senior Provincial Team (British Columbia) for many years
  • Member of the Junior National Team (Canada) for three years
  • Competed at six national championships (Canada)
  • Competed at two international assignments
  • Senior Silver Dances
  • Competitive Class 1 Skating Skills
  • Fourth Figure
  • Senior Competitive Freeskate

Highlights of his coaching career include:

  • 3M NCCP Level 1 Certification
  • 3M NCCP Level 2 Theory and Technical Certification
  • CanPower Certified
  • Nine provincial competitors
  • Two provincial bronze medalists (British Columbia)
Now in his third season with the FLSC he looks forward to another exhilarating season working with the talented athletes of Fraser Lake.
