You may have noticed some work going on at the old municipal office/library site on Stuart Drive.  That will be the location of the new Spirit Square Park, to be constructed this summer. The new park, funded by the BC Spirit Squares program, will feature an enhanced lake view, botanical garden, feature sculptures and monuments, and an improved cenotaph.  It will have a large central plaza, walking paths, a small parking area, trees, flowers and an impressive archway entrance.  If you’d like more information, you can view the drawing by landscape architect Jay Lazzarin, or contact the municipal office.
