Dog License Application
A dog license application form can be downloaded here. Fees are to be paid to the District of Vanderhoof Muncipal Office between 8:30am and 4:00pm.
Fees are $10 for spayed/neutered dogs and $30 for unspayed/unneutered.

The fire protection boundaries lie outside the municipal boundaries. Download the Fire Protection Boundary Map (PDF, 541KB) or contact the Fire Chief at 250-567-2616 to confirm whether or not they are within the rural fire protection boundaries.

Garbage Pick-up Days
* Commercial garbage pick-up: Monday and Friday 
* Residential garbage pick-up schedule:
Tuesdays - Route North of Highway 16 and East of Burrard Avenue
Wednesdays - South of Highway 16
Thursdays - North of Highway 16 and West of Burrard Avenue
If your pick-up day is a statutory holiday, your garbage will be picked up on the next day that isn’t a holiday.
